CHIL Interior Design welcomes Linda Gallo as Director of Practice.

Based in Vancouver and working alongside the studio’s design leadership, Linda will support teams, client relationships, and project delivery across CHIL’s hospitality and multi-residential work.

Linda’s practice leadership will help align creative ambition with client priorities and the practical requirements of bringing design to life. Her role will also support collaboration across CHIL, B+H Architects, and the global SJ Group network, connecting the studio’s interior design expertise with a wide range of disciplines.

“The most successful spaces tell a story without needing to spell it out. They create curiosity, a sense of belonging, and a connection between people and place.

CHIL feels like an exciting next chapter — an opportunity to bring my design perspective, leadership experience, and understanding of the entire project journey to help shape the studio’s future. I believe a successful practice balances a strong vision with collaboration, talented people, and the ability to translate ambitious ideas into thoughtful, well-executed design. I look forward to helping strengthen CHIL’s creative direction, mentor emerging talent, and deliver distinctive, enduring work that resonates with people and their surroundings.”

– Linda Gallo, Director of Practice, CHIL Interior Design

With more than 25 years of experience, Linda has worked closely with designers, developers, architects, and multidisciplinary project teams. These collaborations have shaped her belief that integrated design creates places with a clear identity and a strong connection to their surroundings.

At the heart of Linda’s approach is the belief that good design should endure beyond project completion. She sees spaces as places that evolve through everyday use, supporting connection and becoming more meaningful as they are lived in and loved.

Linda’s appointment reflects CHIL’s continued investment in strong, complementary leadership across design and practice. She will help strengthen the relationships and collaboration that bring CHIL’s commitment to thoughtful, experience-driven interiors to life across the studio’s portfolio.

“We’re building on what makes CHIL distinctive: thoughtful design, lasting client relationships, and a collaborative studio culture. Linda will help us carry those strengths forward as we continue to grow, bringing design and practice together in support of our teams and clients.”
